Santa!

Santa popped in to give us a few last minute tips on how to stay on the nice list this year. He told us that we had nothing to worry about, no coal was going to be delivered to Ballinora this year.

Christmas Show

We were innkeepers in the Christmas show this year. Lots of us had our own lines and we did a fantastic job. Hollywood, here we come!

Science week

This week is science week. We did an experiment to learn more about static electricity. Take a look at our static hair and the dancing paper.  The balloons even stuck to some peoples hair!

Champions!

Our Sciath NS scol boys and girls team won both their finals in Páirc Uí Chaoimh this week. We went along to support them. It was a great day out. 

Oíche Shamhna atá ann!

We have been very busy creating pumpkins, silhouettes, and skeletons this month. Our classroom looked really spooky when they were all on the walls. Here are some pictures of us with our favourite pieces. Happy Halloween everybody! 

The Busquitoes

The Busquitoes visited us today. The played a concert in the GAA hall and they were fantastic! We had so much fun dancing. They are a jazz band from Holland and are in Cork for the jazz weekend. We hope they visit us again soon! 

Food Dudes

We are all becoming food dudes in Ballinora! On our first day, we tasted bananas and mixed peppers. Lots of us loved them! We are working extra hard to keep our lunch boxes healthy with fruit and veg. We are looking forward to tasting new and healthy food!
